What not to send
Do not email a certificate number, transcript, Social Security number, passport, immigration record, school personnel file, or other sensitive document. Teaching Route is not the application intake channel and cannot submit or represent an application to CTC.
Urgent credential or employment questions
Contact the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing or the hiring district directly. This site cannot provide a same-day answer, guarantee a processing date, or make a personal credential decision.
No email needed for the tool
The route checklist runs in the browser. It does not ask for an email address, send results by email, save a profile, or require a reply from the publisher. Email is only an optional contact channel.
